The PORTER-CABLE® 13 Amp Circular Saw is outfitted with kerf cut indicators and integrated laser guides for improved accuracy on long cuts. Utilizing a heavy-duty, ball-bearing motor construction, the laser circular saws are capable of producing 5,000 RPM for crosscutting dimensional lumber or ripping plywood. The saw is fitted with a 7-1/4 inch, 24-tooth carbide-tipped PORTER-CABLE® blade and offers the ability to bevel edges between 0 to 45 degrees.
Heavy duty 13A 5000 RPM motor provides power and torque for any job. 1 13/16'' capacity at 45 and ball bearing construction provides longer tool life and accuracy. Kerf cut indicator aligns the blade to the indicator for accurate line cuts. Bevel adjustment allows for a variety of cutting applications and uses. Depth adjustment allows for cutting depth control. Soft grip rear handle and boot minimizes vibration for prolonged cutting and less user fatigue. Includes 7 1/4'' 24T carbide blade and wrench. 3 year limited warranty.

Okay, so i wanted to give this thing 4 stars at first, but then I remembered how much I paid. The only problem I have with it is that a couple pieces are plastic where I would prefer metal (the thumb screws and the safety guard lever) And the switch for the laser seems a little cheap. Other than these two things this saw is amazing! The laser guide is spot-on accurate and the 13 amp motor will cut through any wood. I do a lot of wood working and this saw is a nice addition to the tool collection. Basically i would reccomend this for anyone looking for a good saw at a good price. If you have the money and want a really good saw go with a Bosch, those are my favorite tools, but this will do very well!
This saw is incredible! Cuts through everything I put in front of it! I'm building furniture with the help of this saw and it makes it so much easier! The laser is a plus for us right-handed people in that it's easier to see what your doing!
